Taxicab drivers are independent contractors. The following items will be considered when evaluating a new enrollee/driver:

	The age of the driver.

	U.S. driving experience.

	The number of moving violations.

	The number of at fault accidents.

	The number of DWI convictions – any DWI convictions within 5 years will disqualify the driver absent extenuating circumstances.

	Texas Driver's license with current address shown.

Each independent contractor driver is responsible for obtaining a taxi driver's license from the City of San Antonio.
